Your hosts Chris Barrett and Fran Cree have been running Rua Reidh since 1989.

Chris, who runs the walking, is a qualified teacher and Mountain Leader, is trained in mountain first aid and is a member of the Dundonnel Mountain Rescue Team.

Fran, as Domestic Manager, takes care of your comfort. She has an HND in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management. More importantly, she can make wonderful soup out of just about anything and her cakes really take the biscuit!

All staff they employ, in addition to being appropriately qualified, undergo Chris and Fran's own training programme. The centre is a member of the Activity Scotland Association.

We have a strong Environmental policy and have attained the Green Tourism Gold Award and Investors in People Award.
