INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Comfortable accommodation, with all meals from dinner on the first night to breakfast on the last morning. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice.

All Rua Reidh holidays (except Torridon self guided trek) are guided by experienced and qualified guides who have a wealth of knowledge of the area, are friendly and will take great care of you. All equipment, waterproofs, rucksack, etc. apart from walking boots, are available for your use.

Rua Reidh transports your baggage for you on all of our walking holidays so you will need only a small day sack for the day's walk.

Collection from Inverness, (Gairloch for the Torridon Trek) and return means you can leave the car at home if you want to.

Not included in the holiday price is travel from your home to Inverness, personal spending, drinks, entry into attractions and personal insurance.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Rua Reidh transport picks up from Inverness railway station at 17.00hrs and drops off at 12 noon each Saturday. Please let us know your travel arrangements when you send your balance payment. If getting Rua Reidh transport please wait inside the station, by the Thomas Cook travel kiosk where you will be met. If you are coming by air or have a problem with the pick up times stated, please let us know well in advance and we will try to arrange something different for you.
Guests driving themselves to the lighthouse should aim to arrive around 7.30pm in time for dinner.

PAYMENT/HOW TO BOOK
Please fill in our booking form and send it with your booking deposit per person of 80 UK pounds. Please note this deposit payment is non-returnable and you are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance against cancellation. It is on receipt of this that your booking is secured. Confirmation will be sent to you within a few days along with an invoice for the balance payment which is due to be paid six weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Please check the details on the confirmation to make sure all dates, programmes etc. are correct. We also ask that you send us your travel details at the same time as you send the balance payment. Receipts are not sent out unless this is specially requested.

Due to bank charges we now levy £1 on each credit card transaction.

Overseas customers:
We accept payment by Money Order (in sterling), sterling Travellers cheques, and Visa and Mastercard cards all drawn in sterling. Foreign currency cheques, please add 30 UK pounds to cover our bank charges.
If you wish, you can send money by bankers draft directly into our bank: The Bank of Scotland. Gairloch. Sort Code: 80-06-87, Account name: Rua Reidh Lighthouse, Account number: 00903949. Please make sure your bank quotes your name on the transfer.
Cheques should be made payable to: Rua Reidh Lighthouse.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
Deposit: A non-returnable deposit of £80 per person is required with your booking form in order to secure your holiday. Telephone booking will be held for two weeks by which time your deposit and booking form should have reached our office.

Payment: Your balance payment is due six weeks before the start of the holiday. An invoice for this amount will be sent to you as confirmation of booking immediately after we are in receipt of the booking form and deposit. Note: Receipts of the balance payment will not be issued unless specially requested.

Cancellation: Should you need to cancel the holiday after your booking has been confirmed, you should do so in writing, the date of the cancellation being the date on which the letter is received by our office. Note all advance payments are non-returnable and we would advise a holiday insurance is taken out at the time of booking to cover unavoidable cancellations. Should Rua Reidh have to cancel the holiday, full reimbursement will be made, or an alternative holiday agreed.

Liability: We feel It is essential to take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation, personal accident, illness or loss of possessions. Rua Reidh Lighthouse Holidays or its servants cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your baggage, or for your illness or injury while on holiday, journey delays, loss of money or valuables or any damage resulting from circumstances outwith our control. To get the best value from your insurance the policy should be taken out at time of booking.

Problems: In the unlikely event of a problem occurring please tell Rua Reidh Management immediately who will do their best to resolve the matter to mutual satisfaction.

Safety: In the interest of safety guests should agree to abide by the guides decisions. Routes and activities may be changed if weather conditions or circumstances demand.

GROUP SIZE
There are never more than 10 in a Rua Reidh walking party. We always run holidays if we have three or more bookings. If less than three are booked on a holiday only two weeks before it is due to begin, customers booked will be given the choice to:

  1. Continue with the holiday
  2. Move to an alternative date
  3. Cancel the holiday with a full refund.

If only one is booked then only options 2 & 3 will apply.
